Virginia Beach holds a special place in my heart – my hometown and the city where I have now chosen to rear my family. It’s also home to a gorgeous historic hotel, an old coast guard station that’s now a museum, a mountain made of trash transformed for recreational use, the Pungo Strawberry Festival, two lighthouses, an aquarium, a new downtown and last but not least, it boasts one of the most happening boardwalks on the East Coast.
