Hampton, Virginia, located at the southern tip of the Hampton Roads peninsula, is home to Langley Air Force Base and the retired Fort Monroe, an impressive air & space center, and an other worldly concert venue (it totally looks like a space ship has landed). Tucked inside the city is a quaint business district called Phoebus with a restored performing arts theater and charming antique shops. It’s a city teeming with fascinating stories for history buffs.
