I really need to get better at styling and photographing quilts. They’re tricky, I tell ya.

But I get so excited upon completion, I have to immediately share. So here ya have it – fold lines and all. These photos were taken just before I stuffed it in a box and shipped it across the country. Do people use quilts in Los Angeles? I hope so.

Theo quilt

I didn’t spend much time on it and used mostly scrap fabric, but I love it (no modesty here). That striped binding really completes it for me.

And do you see the hidden name? It’s a baby quilt for our friends’ baby Theo. We haven’t told them about the secret message and I hope it isn’t too obvious. I’d love for them to notice it a year down the road.
